What we believe
∼ There is only one God, and he is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. God the Father is the creator of the universe. He created man in His own image for fellowship, and called man to himself through Christ after the rebellion and fall of man. Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was together with the father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through him all things were made. He left Heaven and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary henceforth he is forever the Christ with two natures, God and Man in one person.
∼ The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord and giver of life, who was active in the Old Testament, and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost, He empowers the saints for service and witness, cleanses man from the old natures, and conforms us to the image of Christ.
∼ The baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues, subsequent to conversion, release the fulness of of the spirit and is evidenced by the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
∼ In the Bible, containing the Old nd New Testaments, is alone the infallible, inspired Word of God, and that it's authority is ultimate, final, and eternal. It cannot be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any regard. The Bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof. It contains all that is needed for guidance in godliness and practical Christian conduct.
∼ Christ's vicarious death on the cross paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world. Its benefits of healing (body, soul, and spirit) are provided for in the atonement as well.
∼ That salvation is a free gift of God, based on the merits of the death of his son, and is appropriated by faith. Salvation is affected by personal repentance, belief in the Lord Jesus (justification), and personal acceptance of Him into one's life as Lord and Savior (regeneration).
∼ The Christian life is to be one of consecration, devotion, and holiness. The shortcomings of the individual are because of the still progressing sanctification of the saints. The Christian life is filled with trials, tests and warfare against a spiritual enemy. For those abiding in Christ until their deaths or his return, the promise of eternal blessing in he presence of God is assured.
∼ The church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God among the saints through the spirit. Every believer born of the Spirit has a place in the church designated by God. place where Christ is working in the lives of the called out ones and calling ministers to the great commission to go into all the world and make disciples of every nation.
∼ In the ordinance of Baptism & the Lord's supper. Baptism, is the outward sign of what God has already done in the individuals life, and is a public testimony that the person now belongs to Christ. It is identifying with the death and resurrection of Jesus and is done in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Lord's supper is a commemoration of the death of the Lord and is done in remembrance of Him until he comes again; it is a sign of our participation in him.
∼ In the bodily, personal, second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the saints, the millennium, and the final judgment. The final judgment will determine eternal status of both the saints and the unbelievers, determined by their relationship to Jesus Christ.
∼ That marriage is an institution ordained by God from the foundation of the world, and intended as a lifelong union of one man and one woman, based on the teaching of the scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments. This idea is supported by the account of creation in Genesis chapters one and two.
What makes us different
The indigenous church
God is returning the church to the dignity of its foundation. What is needed in our day and hour are churches that will go back to their spiritual roots - The Bible. There we find that each church was a lunching pad to win the world - supporting itself, disciplining, training, equipping, and releasing workers into the world. We believe the church is the Bride of Christ, the depository of God's glory and the pillar and ground of the truth. It is the most vital institution on planet earth. History revolves around the visible body of Christ.
Evangelism
Jesus has never rescinded the command, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel" The fulfilling of this command is laid upon God's people. The power of the Holy Spirit id brought to bear in order to accomplish this command, and joy is released in those who obey. Our primary goal is to lead men and women to Jesus. The result of this command is that God is glorified and honors his word thru signs ,miracles and wonders.
(Acts 4:29-30 KJV) And now, Lord, behold their threatening's: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy Holy child Jesus
Spiritual Maturity
Jesus looked for those who were dedicated to following him. In two thousand years deteriorated. It is our goal as a church not just to learn, but to live the truths of scripture. We believe that we are living in the last days. and this is an hour where the most exciting challenge in life is to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. The members of our churches are not satisfied to be "hearers" only but desire to be "doers" of the word of God.
(James 1:22 KJV) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Discipleship
Each church in the New Testament copied Jesus's method of calling those who God had chosen and trained them through example and release. The book of Acts shows and demonstrates the powerful impact that is possible to those who take the pattern and Jesus's command seriously. Our vision is the restoration of the Biblical pattern of church growth, In each of the fellowship churches, there is a fulfilling of Christ's command to make disciples. This means we believe that the Church needs to be released. We believe in the functioning of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and challenge the members of the church to find full expression and release of their lives as disciples.
(2 Tim 2:2 KJV) And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Prayer
Daily prayer is a norma part of our churches. This is the way of battle for the Christian. Robbed of prayer, the Church is robbed of Power, Direction, and Divine Presence, We know that the kingdom is built by God's power not man's. That is why we place emphasis on touching and releasing God.
(Jeremiah 33:3 KJV) Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which though knowest not.
Preaching
The Bible is the guidebook of the Christian life, and preaching is God's method of bringing it to the hearts of God's people. We believe that honest direct and anointed preaching has always been used by God to shake the nations. In an age of low commitment, many seek to hear a watered-down message, but it is our firm belief that God is raising up a people hungry for the meat of the word. That is why our order of worship is centered around the preaching of the gospel.
(Mat 7:29 KJV) For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes
(Acts 2:40 KJV) And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, save yourselves from this untoward generation.
